The Most awaited film of 2019 ‘ The Accidental Prime Minister’ trailer is out. The film is a political drama which casts Anupam Kher as Dr Manmohan Singh, who served as the Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014.
Along with him, the film also casts Akshaye Khanna who plays the role Sanjay Baru, the media advisor to Former PM Manmohan Singh.
The film is going to hit cinemas on January 11.
While talking to media, Anupam Kher said that initially, he didn’t want to be a part of the film; as it is full of controversies. However, he still took the decision to take up this film.
He also said that playing the character of Manmohan Singh was the most difficult part for him. It took him a practice of 6-7 months to prepare for the role.
The film is based on the book by Sanjay Baru, which caught everybody’s attention in 2014 as well.
After the release of the trailer, the battle between the Congress and the Bhartiya Janata Party has already started. Some of the media reporters also asked Dr Singh about his response to the film. However, he chose not to reply.
