Ask any couple about what was the best time in their relationship. Almost 90% of the couple will answer the pre-wedding duration. Undoubtedly that time holds its own charm and pre-wedding shoot is the best way to capture those special moments. It’s very common these days but there are many things that you should keep in mind before you go for the pre-wedding shoot:

Budget

First and foremost is the budget that you want to keep aside for this photo-shoot. Because nowadays people spend a lot of money on pre-wedding shoot too. So it’s all up to you, how much your pocket allows you. In my advice, do not overspend on this but still go for it. Once you decide your budget then you can fit in all other aspects accordingly.

Photographer
Spend a lot of time researching a good photographer for your wedding who can cover all your wedding functions including the pre-wedding shoot. Discuss the budget with him since he will cost you almost 40% of this budget. Ask him about the experience with shooting videos and pictures. Take a look at the albums he has shoot. Then decide whichever you like.

Location

This is one of the most important aspects to consider since it will require you to book the location. If you choose an open area you might be good to go directly but when choosing indoor locations you will need advance bookings. If you are crazy about getting clicked with the first rays of sun or setting rays of the sun, then be sure to share this with your photographer to help you choose a good location.

Dates
Depending on the availability of location and photographer, you can choose the dates that fit for you. My advice is to keep the pre-wedding shoot a few months before your wedding. Do not try to cover it when your wedding functions are nearby. Otherwise, you will end up having so much in your plate that you would prefer canceling this shoot.

Dress Code and poses
When you have covered all the above-mentioned factors then come to the best part. Decide a few combinations with your partner like a well-suited groom with a short dress bride, groom wearing black kurta pyjama and bride wearing an anarkali dress. Plus there can be endless such combinations. Don’t forget that dress code go hand in hand with poses. While choosing your photographer, make sure he is well aware of lovely possible poses.
