The Veteran actor-writer Kader Khan is no more with us. He died on December 31, at 6 pm as per Canadian time because of prolonged illness. He slipped into the coma in the afternoon. He was in a hospital in Canada for the last 16-17 weeks. During his last times, he developed breathing issues and doctors transferred him from regular ventilator to BiPAP ventilator.
The last rites will be performed in Canada only; Khan’s son Sarfaraz confirmed.
“We are thankful to everyone for their blessings and prayers,” he also added.
Bollywood, as well as the fans, mourn the death of the actor. Twitter is flooded with sad messages. His death is a loss to the Indian cinema.
According to the reports, Kader Khan was suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a disease in which a person loses his balance and also find finds difficulty in walking.
He was already on a wheelchair after his knee surgery in 2015.
In the year 2016, there were some rumours that Kader Khan had died. However, a source close to the family revealed that all these reports were not true and requested everyone to stop these rumours.
Born in Kabul Afghanistan, Khan was know was his brilliant work as an actor and writer. He made his debut in the year 1973 and since then he has been featured in more than 300 films.
He wrote dialogues for more than 250 films. As a screenwriter, he had collaborated with Manmohan Desai and Prakash Mehra as well.
