One of the greatest tools to have deeper experiences in meditation is your body. If your body is not prepared then the chances are very low that something deep within you touches you.
Say, for example, you sit for your meditation. But, your back is continuously paining. You will say, leave this meditation, I want to get rid of this pain first.
For most people, their body is the biggest hurdle.
Thus, preparing the body is essential.
Probably, what can do is, Start with physical yogic postures to activate the body. These postures are perfect to align you with the cosmic geometry.
There is a whole dimension of yoga known as Hatha Yoga; wherein you achieve mastery over your body and your body is no more a hurdle is the path.
So, it is very essential to detoxify your body from all the toxins to experience something significant.
Even in your car, if you want to change the gear, first you have to do is neutral and then switch the gears. just like that if you wish to go higher and have deeper experiences, the first should be to release the toxins and that is stopping you and acting as a hurdle.
To start with, find out three yogic asanas that you think you can easily do every day. Keep on doing it again and again. Consistent practice will help you in breaking your own barriers and limitations and open up doors for higher experiences.
